[attr="class","LIN1"] [attr="class","LIN1BG"] [attr="class","rightpanelsLIN1"] There are things in this world , that I don’t understand. Like love, war or gravity and the lady of the land. While all of these, remain mysteries, one thing is for sure. You are worth living for.Sometimes when I let my mind run free it never fails, it goes right to you, and a smile takes a hold of me.I miss the way your body burns, when we melt alone.------------------------------------------ dry blood was stained on his skin as he tried to pick his head up from the couch, the spot that he must have crashed into after last night’s events. his head was pounding and it was not due to an overconsumption of alcohol. he remembered getting a good hit to the head but the memory was hazy. he was injured and possibly down for the count. the time was lost on him and he could not even recall the day of the week. he knew that work was probably looking for him but would not dare to disturb him. him and nixon were only recently rehired at the shop but there was still fear in the boys’ eyes when the two of them walked in together. hunter had to admit that it was quite a thrill to see them shrivel in their spots, make themselves appear smaller because the two murderers were back. hunter reached up to rub the sleep and the small specks of dried blood from the corner of his eye. he predicted quite a scuff on the side of the head that he would ultimately wear like a badge of courage. he was never pleased to get those marks but he was never ashamed of them either, they just showed that he was still a fighter. but his current state meant that he was face down on the couch for the rest of the afternoon—or so he thought. just was hunter was about to admit defeat and let a recovery kind of sleep take over, the phone in his pocket began to buzz annoyingly. he groaned while pulling his arm out from under his body, partially numb, it tingled as his fingers dug into the fabric of his jean’s pocket to pull the buzzing device out. auto repair, or he thought that’s what it said as his vision was not entirely clear. his boss must be calling this once to be sure that the employee was still alive. tapping the screen, he groaned loudly as the phone was lifted to his ear and he sat up completely, the room beginning to twirl around him. ”yes?”, he grumbled, getting a small run around about the real situation that was happening at the workplace. some woman was stranded and hunter’s apartment was apparently close proximity to the woman. ”fuck sake’s…fine.”, hanging up on his apologetic boss which would have had him chuckling if he knew that the pain would not be intense. sighing softly, he rose out off the couch with the assistance of the back table to stand up straight.
limping his way into the bathroom, a momentary thought went out to his best friend who was his partner in the scuffle that happened last night. he was sure that his friend was alive and well, probably more used to this stuff than hunter was. hunter was not a common fighter, he was recruited recently by a gang and any other kind of fighting was prohibited. the fact that he got into a fight last night probably meant that hunter was going to be getting into another one, having to fight his way through a punishment. groaning, he splashed the water on his face, scrubbing the dried blood away to reveal exactly what he had expected to see. a good scrap was on the side of his face, possibly from concrete contact –did he fall last night? that would have been surprising but it was possible. hunter was thankfully that none of his eyes were swollen as he had to drive in about two minutes. he gave a glance to the mirror and his reflection made him cringe. he looked like…shit. it was the nicest way to put it. walking out of the bathroom, hunter grabbed for a clean shirt and jeans, exchanging his outfit as he made his way to the front door, grabbing the clean plaid shirt on his way out of the door and slipping it on, leaving his door unlocked. he had nothing of real value in there, not since his ex-girlfriend had left and taken just about every part of him with her. he was surprised that his apartment was still in tact when he had returned from his slight leave of absence. nothing had been touched, it had been like time had been frozen. stepping over to the truck, he checked the bed through his window to check for his toolbox and then backed out of the driveway. hunter had a decent memory and remembered the road that the girl was on and how to get there from his apartment so hunter ruled out a concussion as a possible injury. he blasted his music as his truck sped along the street before spotting the girl, her car stalled on the side of the road and …her. he could not help but give her a look over as he passed by, pulling his car over only a few feet in front of hers. his music remained on as he got out of the car and grabbed for his toolbox, ”you called for a mechanic.”, not asking but more stating as he stepped over to the steaming car, ”step back.”, he commented while his fingers dipped into the crevice of the hood in order to pull it back. he gave her a two second pause before he popped the hood and began to clear the once clear air with a wave of his head, giving her a side glance, ”what happened?”. it doesn't make me nervous,
if anything i'm restless. yeah, i've been around to see it all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Tonight was important. Or so that's what Felix continued to insist over the phone. Or that's what he tried to insist over the phone. His speech was slurred and he stumbled over ever other word which made it pretty difficult for her to understand, especially with her shitty phone's shitty reception. However, she did manage to pick up the general message and hung up shortly after she heard enough from him. He wanted her to come to this party at this abandoned building where all of his fuck boy friends and gang members would be. Of course she didn't want to go. Lilian was never in the mood to go to those parties anymore because she wasn't the same gang whore that she was before. Alcohol lost it's taste and drugs didn't give her the same high anymore. So she lost interest. What consumed her mostly anymore was her plots and schemes and paranoia of getting caught within her plots and schemes. It would only be a matter of weeks now before she could make her escape. Just another month or two and this city would be just a spec in the distance behind her. All of the plans had been made. She found a cheap apartment a few states over and she would stay there for a handful of months, get a job, save up more money, and then move onto the next city because she knew that her nerves wouldn't allow her to settle in one place for too long until she made it all the way over to the east coast. However, before any of that could even happen, Lily needed to keep up with her little act. She needed to make nice with Felix and do as he asked of her because if she didn't, then he might suspect something and beat her until he got the truth out of her.
After having picked out some of her better clothing to create a semi-sensual outfit that she imagined Felix would like, Lily grabbed the keys to her rusty, nearly worn out car. If she planned on getting far away from this place as fast as she could, it might be a smart idea to invest in a newer model or something. That was on her list of things to do, but getting a car would have to be a last minute thing so Felix and the goons didn't know what kind of car she was driving or what the plate numbers were. She also thought that maybe it would be smart to abandon this one a few towns over, then take a few buses to a few other towns over, and then buy her new car there so no one could answer any questions about where she went or what she was driving. These thoughts swirled around in the blonde's head as she slowly made her way through the shady part of the city. Maybe it should frighten her, but it really didn't anymore. So long as she was Felix's girl, there was some sort of protection blanketing over her. And she was also in a moving vehicle.... until the front of it started smoking and suddenly the piece of shit sputtered and died on her. "For fuck's sake." She grumbled through clenched teeth and rolled over to the side of the road before putting her breaks on, then calling the first autoshop that popped up on google. The manager assured her that one of their best would be out shortly to help her get moving again. Shortly wasn't short enough however, because she spent a good half hour standing out next to her car which allowed shady characters stumbling by to get a good look at her and pause a moment as they formulated cruel intentions. Lily stood her ground, trying to appear indifferent to their presence. In truth, she was frightened more than anything, but her knight in greasy and battered armor rolled up just in time. "Yeah, I'm aware." A tinge of sarcasm clung to her words as she did what he instructed, taking a few steps away from her dying vehicle. "The front just started smoking and then it sputtered a little bit before dying. But there's probably a lot more wrong with it honestly." Lily crossed her arms over her chest and watched the man carefully. There was something off about him. Not just his appearance, but the dark atmosphere that seemed to be radiating off of him. He made her feel uneasy, but she wasn't sure if it was necessarily a bad thing or not yet. |

You are worth living for.Sometimes when I let my mind run free it never fails, it goes right to you, and a smile takes a hold of me.I miss the way your body burns, when we melt alone.------------------------------------------ what day of the week was it? hunter knew that he had something important to do tonight that did not involve Nixon, which was strange. he was usually always with his better half whenever he could because he secretly worried for his best friend. when nixon jumped at the chance to enter the dire fight that could have very well been there last, it was a red flag for hunter. upon his return, the news spread like wildfire but apparently when one snake head was cut off, another grew. felix was an old comrade but not close enough to be labelled a friend, but he had taken over when hunter had killed the previous leader. hunter had stepped back when connor had made himself leader and then connor took it upon himself to make sure that hunter knew where his loyalties lied. well, hunter knew that his loyalties were not going to be with connor or that gang and yet, here he was, back in the thick of it. he knew that killing connor would put a target on his back for a while and that was why he took off but now felix was back in charge and hunter knew that he was safe. the fight to get that position would have had him eliminated in an instant due to the fact that hunter was a leader, he was meant to take the leader position but he never wanted it. he never wanted the power, he just wanted to be left alone but that was not his birthright apparently. sighing, he got into the truck and checked over the supplies that he could possibly need for this fixer-upper. it was some woman, only her car was described but hunter was quite positive that he could find her. he drove along the streets, the slums as they were called in the ritzier area and grimaced to how much had not changed. he wanted to see that this place had changed, that it could go on without him but he could find no differences between when he left and his return.
he spotted the smoke from the car first and then the girl. he checked at the scuff on the side of his face in the small mirror before shaking his head. appearance was something when it came to off sight jobs but hunter had been pulled off his couch by a distress call that he did not want to take. giving a glance to the girl, he grabbed the toolbox from the bed of his truck and took the three steps needed to reach the car. her bite to his comment made him narrow his eyes but it remained unanswered. he could just leave her ass to the sharks that were looking around them but were now keeping their distance with the killer being in the area. he waited for two seconds before he started to pull the hood up from the car, letting the smoke envelope around him but it was something that he was used to. it was a bit of an ecstasy to breath in the charred air around them. but he had to see the problem and started to waft the smoke from his face, snorting as he looked at the damage under the roof of the car. ”clearly.”, he bit back to her as he reached for his wrench and began to tinker with the engine a bit. he knew that this job was simply impossible to get done with a little tinkering—it would require hours of work but hunter still tried. he wanted to avoid having to drop her off ad then call to get the car towed to the shop. with a frustrated groan, he stood up and dropped the wrench into the box, ”get a ride cause this is shot. i’ll call the shop to get it towed there.”, he spoke while picking up his toolbox and tossing it into the bed of his truck. with the clash of the tools against the metal made of the truck, he cursed. he remembered what he had to do today. fuck. walking around to the side of his car, he reached for the clipboard that was always stashed under his passenger seat and began to write a few things down while walking around her car. after a few minutes of pure silence, bobbing his head to the music that was still coming from the radio from his own car, he tore off the paper, ”here.”, holding it out to her and giving it a small shake to emphasise that she needed to take the paper, ”address were your car will be is there, phone number of the shop..” [newclass=.LIN1]width:450px;height:300px;background:url(http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwztcfqSXU1r93g08o1_500.jpg);overflow:hidden;text-align:left[/newclass] [newclass=.LIN1BG]width:450px;height:300px;[/newclass][newclass=.rightpanelsLIN1]width:150px;height:50px;margin-left:450px;margin-top:130px;transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-webkit-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-moz-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-o-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-ms-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;[/newclass][newclass=.LIN1BG:hover .rightpanelsLIN1]margin-left:40px;transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-webkit-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-moz-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-o-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;-ms-transition: all 1s ease-in-out 0.2s;[/newclass]

it doesn't make me nervous,
if anything i'm restless. yeah, i've been around to see it all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | To be quite frank, Lillian never really showed any interest in gang politics. She had been tangled up with this particular group of men for years now, but she never really cared about any of them. When it all started out she had just been some junkie girl looking for a fix. They provided her with that and, in turn, she basically let them use her body in whichever way they pleased. Lily wasn't proud to admit that of course. In fact, there weren't very many moments where she would allow herself to drift back to those dark days because she was ashamed of the woman she once was. Still was even, but not as bad as before. Once upon a time her life had been filled with so much potential and promise. Had she stayed away from the drugs and the trouble, she probably would have gotten a full ride to some nice college somewhere far away from this place. All of those opportunities slipped right through her fingers the moment she was introduced to the wrong group of people. So then she became an addict and a whore instead of a college student. And after that she became a recovering waitress. Now she was a gang leader's girlfriend. There was probably a pretty price hanging over her head because of what she meant to Felix, but she always had some kind of protection. Most of the time one or two of the guys would be set to escort her from one place to the next and they had pretty much taken over the diner she worked at. They literally filled up every aspect of her life because at any moment someone could show up and try to kill her. This was both a good and bad thing. The constant company provided her with some sense of security from other threats in the city, but it also meant that finding a moment to slip away unnoticed might be pretty difficult. She still had some time to figure that part of the plan out thought. There was still some money to be saved and arrangements to be made. Once that was all finished and wrapped up, then she could worry about getting away from her watchdogs.
Surprisingly enough, tonight she was completely alone. Probably because she was on her way to the gang headquarters and everyone was there already which meant they were probably fucked out of their minds on drugs and alcohol. No point in sending someone incompetent to come watch her. But at least she wasn't alone now. The mechanic that the autoshop has sent to her looked a little shady himself, all bruised up and edgy looking, but Lily wasn't unfamiliar with that kind of man. He looked like a fighter. She took notice of his scars and rough looking hands. His knuckles had traces of bruising, which she seriously doubted came from working with cars all day. While he popped the hood she continued to carefully scrutinize him while also giving him some offhanded sass. Wasn't anything personal really, just a reflex at this point. At least when she was dealing with men like him. Showing signs of softness or weakness was never a good idea. They might try to take advantage of you if they found a chink in your armor. "Fuck me. Alright." Lily had no fucking idea who would be able to pick her up at this hour, because she would refuse anyone who wasn't sober. There was no way she would be getting in a car with some drunk asshole. She wasn't that stupid anymore. Once the mechanic turned his back, Lily pulled out her phone and dialed Felix's number. It rang and rang and rang until it went to voicemail. Fuck. "Hey... Felix? Sweetheart? My car broke down so, I'll probably be a little late. I'll call a cab or something. Hope you're enjoying yourself. See you soon." Her voice turned sugary sweet and soft because that's what he liked. He wanted her sweetness. Her purity. Lily used this to her advantage whenever she was trying to distract him or calm him down. In this particular case, he would most likely be upset with her absence and tardiness, so best to play the innocent card now. Lily sighed and hung up her phone, then placing it back in her bag. "Yeah. Okay. Fine. Thanks for coming out here and uh... trying to fix my shit car." She took the paper from him and also stuffed that in her bag. "I'll see you around then." A small smile pulled the corners of her mouth a little, then she half shrugged before turning around and walking the other way. Wouldn't be that far of a walk probably. She could hopefully make it without getting stabbed. |

his brows furrowed as he heard the vulgar language coming from a girl with such an innocent, sweet appearance. she was not wearing anything particularly alluring though some could say that her skirt was too short or her shirt neckline swung a bit too low—hunter did not really mind. he had rather enjoyed getting a nice view of her tanned legs and every little bit of skin that she showed but then he was back to work mode, professional in all of his own definition. ”your fault.”, he commented about the car. she rode her brakes, she sped, he could tell that the car had been through quite a bit abuse and he was surprised that it had not been scraped long before this encounter. she probably wanted to get every mileage that she could off it and he did not blame her. his truck was not a panty dropper kind of car but it got him from home to bars and back again, all it was really needed for. he had walked over to truck to get the papers when he heard her voice carrying ”felix” was the name that fell out of his mouth and he nearly tripped getting into his truck to grab the clipboard. fuck. he had just been checking out the girlfriend or the whores of his gang leader? good thing felix was not around to have seen hunter’s wandering eyes, not that it would have stopped him from doing so but felix was still a high ranking member and some respect for property was meant to be adhered to. composing himself, he stepped back over to her and read her the car rights, giving her the paper at the end. he had already texted for someone to get the car and tow it to the shop because really, hunter had not brought the right vehicle, though maybe he should have thought ahead. his head was pounding though and all hunter could think about was getting to this gathering so that he could get a quick beer in him and then head home to sleep. ”again, not the car’s fault.”, he mused with a shake of his head and began to walk away and he gave a half wave from over his shoulder as she spoke of seeing him again. he restarted his truck and shut the door, sighing as he leaned forward to put his forehead to the steering wheel. fuck, fuck, fuck. he grumbled while throwing the car into reverse, being careful not to hit the blonde as he did so. he leaned over to the passenger side and pushed open the door, ”get in.”, sitting straighter while reaching to turn his music down, ”a ride will get you there faster and since i’m going that way…just get in.”, not wanting to talk or explain anything more as he waited, counting down from ten in his head and once he hit zero, hunter would be gone.
