pb: i really don't want to stray away from emily rickards because i am such an olicity fan and i think this character and her face go well together but if you really don't want to use her, i can bend for that one.
age: 22-24.
career: doesn't matter.
plot outline:
so basically this girl is going to have a really, really bad day. first, she is going to go to a wine tasting with her friends and she is going to lose her engagement ring and then when she goes outside to get cell reception, she gets her phone taken too. what a pickle. going into the building to report all of this, she sits on a couch and finds a phone next to her. picking it up, she finds there is no password or code. after some moral debate in her head, she texts a few people that she knows, letting them know that this is her new phone. only, she gets a call a few minutes later from a man who has a deep voice (tristan) who demands to have the phone back. it actually turned out to belong to his PA who quit and just left the phone wherever she was while waiting for a client of his. now, this girl is in a rut. she has already given the number out to her friends and the hotel front desk in case they find her lost ring. he's...blunt, he's curt, he really has no interest in giving his phone to this stranger but he agrees. and then this is where their stories interlap.
at first, that phone is used for only emergencies. she texts her friends but then she finds she is getting texts and emails that belong to tristan and should be going to his phone. so she calls him and he explains that everything is sent to that phone and then his PA used to forward anything important to his own personal cell- emails, texts, even calls are transferred. so naturally, this phone is ringing all the time and now, this girl, on top of her job and planning her wedding, she finds herslf doing what his PA used to do because she really needs to keep this phone until that ring is found. Of course she has to read the e-mails to know which one to forward, and she realizes that he sure could use some coaching in building teamwork. He either ignores e-mails or answers them abruptly and sparsely. What is wrong with saying "Great job" once in a while? Soon the desire to just help Tristan becomes uncontainable.
Tristan is all business - very focused and intent on his career and the success of his company. People should just do their jobs. Tristan is not sure what to think about the whirlwind that has entered his life, but even though she is causing extraordinary pandemonium she has gotten under his skin. He feels compelled to help her find her ring, and he is not shy about telling her she needs to develop backbone, and quit letting people – like her future in-laws - intimidate her.
so, during one of those reply sessions, she agrees on his behalf to attend an event, not expecting to find tristan there.
from there...we shall see. i want them together in the end but she could/could not be engaged but he is...kind of. she finds in her emails that he is often in a fight with a woman whose emails and texts go unanswered and she begins to flirt with danger and messes up that part of his life too. tristan and his girl will meet face to face and he will confront her about what she is doing..they will get closer and yea.
it's a cute little idea that will mostly be texts/phone calls at first and then they will start to thread together. the ring that she loses could even be just a family heirloom that is precious. secrets will come out about his life. she will find herself annoyed with his one-two word replies while she is all about smilieys and tone in her texts and emails. it will be a fun little plot that can turn very dramatic and ugh, im excited for someone to take her.
